Religious Education's Relevance in Nigeria's Tertiary Institutions

This study aimed to determine how important religious education is in Nigerian schools, especially tertiary institutions the Delta State of Nigeria. To reach this goal, eleven colleges and universities were chosen for research. Research questions hypotheses formulated guide study. The data was collected from primary sources using a structured questionnaire. Twenty-two questionnaires administered selected institutions' twenty-two heads (and deputies). Means Standard Deviations (M & SD) used answering research questions, tested t-test statistical method. findings led conclusion that there are significant differences heads' perceptions relevance effective curbing moral decadence state society as whole.
